He received a PhD in Applied Phys ics (2011) and a MSc in Nanotechnology (2008) from Athens Polytechnic\, G reece. He completed postdoctoral training in biophotonics (2016) at Polyt echnique Montreal and at the U. of St. Andrews (UK). He was awarded a Mar ie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship for his postdoctoral training. His lab dev elops laser-enabled technologies for drug delivery and eye surgery guidan ce. He has authored or co-authored 35 papers and filed 3 patent applicati ons.&\;nbsp\;Frank Wendt is an Associate Research Scientist in Yale� 39\;s Division of Human Genetics in Psychiatry and an incoming Assistant Professor of Anthropology at the University of Toronto (summer 2022). His postdoctoral training at Yale was supported by an NRSA F32 Individual Po stdoctoral Fellowship from the National Institute of Mental Health. His r esearch focuses on identifying and understanding the consequences of gene tic variation associated with multiple traits.
