This training school will briefly illustrate the stan dard approaches for forest monitoring presented in the handbook while pro viding the participants with the opportunity to apply some of the methodo logies in the field with experts in the topic.We invite researchers to ex press their interest to participate as trainees. Participation in the Tra ining School will be free of charge for all trainees\, but it is limited to up to 35 trainees. Selected trainees who are located in one of the 32 countries that are either COST members or near neighboring countries can be reimbursed for their long-distance travel and through a 180€ daily a llowance\, see reimbursement conditions here.Please\, express your intere st to participate as a trainee by sending an email to the Action Chair (s abina.burrascano@uniroma1.it) and to the training school coordinator (fch ianucci@gmail.com) by the 31st of May 2022.
