 ws on building a career in Ireland\, in academia and beyond
DESCRIPTION:The key element of this event will be a peer-support workshop o
 rganised in collaboration with the MCAA Career Development Manager\, Pooj
 a Khurana.The facilitators will guide the discussions while participants 
 work initially in small groups. Early-career researchers who have recentl
 y arrived in Ireland will\, as far as possible\, be mixed with more exper
 ienced members of the Irish research community to encourage peer learning
  and networking.Before and after this main activity\, there will be prese
 ntations on the MCAA\, its mission\, and its organisational structure. Th
 e Coordinators of the Ireland Chapter and visiting Chapters will share th
 eir experiences of supporting MCAA members. The MCAA Chair\, Ornela Bardh
 i\, will also deliver a short address.Ireland Chapter member and former M
 CAA Board member Irene Castellano-Pellicena will give a presentation on f
 unding opportunities in Ireland. MCAA members who have successfully trans
 itioned from their MSCA fellowship to the next stage of their careers wil
 l share their experiences and insights. The event will conclude with a Q&
