Bridging Science and Business Workshop

 Dear MCAA Members,

The BSB working group cordially invites you to a two-day training and networking event in Gdańsk. We will offer you the opportunity to join workshops on patenting, starting spin-offs and start ups, grant application, innovative thinking, and design. Also, you will hear the talks from distinguished professionals, academics, and consultants on the commercialization of their research, patenting of ideas and their experience with research in business and academia.

This event is organized back-to-back with the 2nd Polish Chapter Meeting in the beautiful port city of Gdansk. So you have the exciting opportunity to attend both meetings, which are open and free for all MCAA members.

We would appreciate if all of you who are planning to join us would register as soon as possible so that we can apply for more funding if the number of participants exceeds our expectations. The deadline for the BSB grant applications is 13.08.2017. The registration is also open to non-members of MCAA, so spread the word to fellow colleagues and interested!

14:00 - 14:30: coffee break with networking

14:30 - 15:30: workshops (innovation, starting up startups, business)

15:30 - 16:00: coffee break with networking

16:00 - 18:00: workshops (patent law, grant applications)

19:30: networking dinner

10:00 -10:30: coffee break with networking

10:30 - 12:00: design thinking

12:00 - 13:00: Lunch

13:00 - 15:00: presentations for companies, business on innovation

15:00 - 15:30: coffee break with networking

15:30 - 17:00: presentations from scientists, about their experience with patents and companies
