Job description:

We are seeking Project Assistant(s) to support the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) in the MEDNIGHT project, funded by Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions (MSCA)-Citizens. The Project Assistant(s) will help with operational tasks to ensure the smooth execution of MCAA's duties within the project. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the coordination and administration of project activities.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation and records.
  • Prepare and revise documents (activity reports, meeting minutes, website updating, etc)
  • Support handling communications and inquiries related to the project.
  • Support in the preparation and submission of project reports and deliverables.
  • Assist in financial administration, including budget tracking and expense reporting.
  • Assist in planning and organizing events and activities.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required to support the project.

 

What we expect:

We are looking for candidates with the following profile:

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Experience in science communication for non-experts, including children
  • Knowledge of event planning and community management. 
  • The readiness to join an international remote team

 

Will be considered as advantages: 

  • Previous experience working on EU-funded projects.
  • Knowledge of financial administration and budgeting processes.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software.
  • Additional language skills relevant to the project partners and stakeholders.

 

What we offer:

  • The MCAA service contract as a freelancer until 31 December 2025.
  • Compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, with a daily (8 working hours) gross rate ranging from 90 to 110 Euros. A correction coefficient may apply depending on the location.
  • The position is to be part-time and task dependent with no commitment of a minimum number of hours or days per month. The average requirement is estimated at 1-2 days per month.   Maximum commitment in one month should not exceed 8 days/month.
