Birnstiel Award for Doctoral Research in Molecular Life Sciences is inviting nominations


A new research award seeks to honour the World’s most outstanding PhD projects in molecular life sciences from the past year. The international “Birnstiel Award” is a joint initiative of Max Birnstiel Foundation and the IMP. The call is open until 30 June 2019.

These opportunities and more will be discussed by researchers, European Union officials and policymakers at a high-level conference in Bucharest, Romania, next month.

Extended deadline for submissions for the fourth edition of the MSCA Prizes

The MSCA 2017 Presidency conference ‘Mobility takes research further’ will host the fourth  Awards Ceremony of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Prizes, open for all FP7 and horizon 2020 MSCA fellows and alumni.

This year there will be three categories:

The 6th Bi-annual International European Women’s Invention, Innovation & Enterprise Network will take place from 28 to 29 June in Bari, Italy.

The event will focus on relevant issues relating to intellectual property rights, growing enterprises, with a particular focus on exceptionally creative ideas, innovation and technologies.

What is it? The aim is to find and to acknowledge new high-technology business ideas and business models with the potential to drive green economic growth. Awards are available for three categories: energy efficiency, cleantech, and green, smart cities.
