Andrea Noble

It is with deep sadness that we note the death of one of our members Andrea Noble on 10 May 2017.

Andrea Noble was a Latin Americanist based at The University of Durham.

Her research interests were related to visual culture, with specific reference to Mexico. Her publications include books on Mexican National Cinema and the iconic photographs of the 1910 Mexican Revolution Her past and current research students have worked on masculinity in Mexican cinema.

Our deepest sympathies go out to her family and relatives.
