Appropriate price for a video?

Dear all

I have been contacted more than once from the Pix Videos Production Company. They offered me to produce a communication video (with no further communication campaign associated) for my project whose cost range between 1.200,00-1.900,00 euros per minute.

I might be wrong -and you can think that the price of a service can be as high as somebody is willing to pay for it- however I believe it is ethically and morally questionable, in such a difficult time for European economy, to ask for such an amazingly high price. Somehow, I found it offensive as this is often the net monthly salary of a researcher in a  Southern European Country.

I wonder whether you have been contacted too, and also wonder whether our representative want to enquire whether this company has any special agreement with the EC for contacting us and offering similar prices.
