What are we doing to sustain our world?

We would like to invite MSCA Fellows and all researchers who work in the UK in the fields related to the sustainable development goals and their implementation in submitting a brief research statement intended to establish potential interests and explore existing premises for the organization at a future event in London (April 2019) promoted by the MCAA-UK Chapter. The sustainable development goals are a universal call for actions to address the global challenges we face and to achieve a better and more sustainable future for people, planet and prosperity. They concern the following interconnected issues:

1. No poverty

2. Zero hunger

3. Good health and well-being

4. Quality education

5. Gender equality

6. Clean water and sanitation

7. Affordable and clean energy

8. Decent work and economic growth

9. Industry, innovation, and infrastructure

10. Reduced inequalities

11. Sustainable cities and communities

12. Responsible production and consumption

13. Climate action

14. Life below water

15. Life in land

16. Peace justice and strong institutions

17. Partnerships for the goals

If you feel your subject can be linked to one or more themes above and you are interested in participating in an event to promote your research as well as expand your network, please send us your proposal for a short paper by the 21st December 2018 including the following information:

Title of the project

Brief research statement (maximum 250 words)

This is an opportunity to create a multidisciplinary discussion, so that engineers, psychologists, anthropologists, economists etc. could all be involved. The event will be held in London on a Friday afternoon in April.
