Female Experts in EU-Panels

On

Dear all, there are two initiatives for raising the number of female experts in EU panels. Still, expert panels are dominated by men and no equality is reached. Many of you have huge scientific experience and a strong track record after PhD, especially the experienced members from before FP7. Acting as an expert in EU-proposals can be much work and is not highly paid - but it is also a good experience about international co-working of the panel, of gaining experience for own proposals and to enhance your CV as scientist and to create new networks. A guide for requisistes and registration can be found here: http://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/docs/h2020-funding-guide/experts/expert-registration_en.htm There are two initiatives raising awareness to raise the number of women experts in EU panels, especially in STEM, but also in other fields. It might be a good opportunity to support them: - Brussels Binder: https://brusselsbinder.org/our-story/ - No Women No Panel: https://ec.europa.eu/digital-single-market/en/news/commissioners-support-no-women-no-panel-campaign I'm sorry I wasn't able to join in Leuven due to sickness, it would have been a pleasure to meet you all. Congrats to the new board. You can count on me!
