MCAA-SEA participates in European Research Day- Thailand

MCAA SEA Country Representative,  Dr. Narisorn Kitiyanant together with Dr. Jenny Lind Elmaco, MCAA SEA Chair and EURAXESS Representative participated and gave presentations during the European Research Day - Thailand held last December 4-5 online. 

The event was in partnership with EURAXESS ASEAN and the EU Delegation in Thailand with the support of the National Science and Technology Development Agency. 

In the third session of the event, Dr. Kitiyanant joined Dr. Phaik Yeong Cheah of Mahidol Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit and Dr. Phanramphoei Namprachan of BIOTEC and Institut Pasteur, France. They shared their Marie Curie experience as well as their research. 

Other speakers in the event included Mr. Pierrick Fillon, Senior Policy Officer, DG RTD, European Commission and Ms. Claire Morel, Head of Unit of the MSCA, DG EAC of the European Commission.  Gracing the occasion also was Dr. Manop Sittidech, Minister Counsellor of the Thailand Mission to the EU and Dr. Lily Eurwilaichitr, Vice President for International Collaboration of the NSTDA.

Mr. Guiseppe Busini, Deputy Head of Mission of the EU Delegation in Thailand also spoke during the event together with presentations from science counsellors from Italy, France and Spain.
