MCAA virtual event

On

Dear chapter/working group chair,

Welcome back to the MCAA Insider.

This week, Friday and Saturday, MCAA:s first ever virtual conference will take place. Registration closes Thursday November 5 at 11.00 CET (today), so make sure to complete your registrations before then using this link. You are encouraged to disseminate the event on social media to your network. We are organizing several interesting sessions and will be using a mix of Meetingbox, Vimeo and Zoom and additional tools such as sli.do, so this will be a great learning experience for us and we hope to collect feedback from you all. The Communication working group will be tweeting live from the event, so take the opportunity to retweet and keep yourselves updated on what is going on in real-time by checking the official MCAA Twitter account.

Here are a couple of highlights from the program

November 6:

  • Opening speech at 1 pm by Director General Themis Christophidou
  • Keynote presentation at 2.30 pm by Professor Daniel Ziblatt, author of "How Democracies Die"
  • The dark side of research comedy show at 6 pm

November 7:

  • Networking with thematic breakout rooms starting at 9 am

Welcome to this event!
