Grant Writing and Networking Event: From Ideas to Impact
We're pleased to announce an upcoming professional development event focused on grant writing and networking, taking place in one of Padova's most prestigious historic venues on 18th November 2025 at 10am.
Location: Palazzo Bo - Archivio Antico and Sala delle Colonne
The event will be hosted in the magnificent Palazzo Bo, home to the University of Padova since 1493. Participants will have the unique opportunity to gather in two of the palace's most stunning spaces: the Archivio Antico (Ancient Archive), which houses centuries of academic history, and the Sala delle Colonne (Hall of Columns), renowned for its elegant architecture and historic significance.
Event Focus:
This session is designed for researchers, academics, and professionals seeking to enhance their grant writing skills and expand their professional networks. Participants will:
- Learn effective strategies for crafting compelling grant proposals
- Understand the key elements that funding agencies look for in applications
- Discover best practices for budget preparation and project planning
- Network with fellow researchers and potential collaborators
- Share experiences and insights in an inspiring historical setting
The combination of practical skill-building and networking opportunities, set against the backdrop of Palazzo Bo's architectural splendor, creates an ideal environment for professional growth and meaningful connections.

We are offering travel grants for participants who are no longer MSCA fellows. In line with our commitment to sustainability, travel grants are available exclusively for those traveling by bus or train.
