Dear Chengjun,

this is just for letting you know that MCAA and MCFA are 2 different associations and your post on FB for applying for the MCAA WG call was posted into the MCFA group which is not related to this Association.

You are not the only one confusing the 2 associations, but please be aware that the members of MCFA are not necessarily also member of MCAA and just MCAA members can apply to the call.

Dear all,

does anyone know whether we we can do something about the money that we paid, off our fellowship, as 'pension funds' if, like in my and I am sure many others' case, we won't get any pension from the state we visited while MC fellows?

Thanks

Luigi it depends on the country´s rule. Some country allows you to get you money in cash by paying taxes on that, some allows you to move the budget to another country, some gives you a small pension once you get the retirement age, some simply gets your money :-) ... You should ask to the institute mangaing the pension funding in the country that you visited during the MC.
