Industry-experienced Speaker Wanted

Dear MSCA Alumni,

We are currently working on the programme of the next MSCA satellite event for ESOF, which will take place on 19-20 June in Copenhagen.

This year's theme will be on transferrable skills. We are looking for a former MSCA fellow to participate as a senior speaker within the parallel workshop "Transitioning from Academia to Industry - the basics".

The speaker would need to have a solid experience working within an industry context (ideally having founded their own company or brought to the market the results of their research project), good public speaking skills and have a structured speech to give tips to the public on key points in making a successful academia-industry transition.

Travel and accommodation of the selected speaker will be covered by the European Commission.

Are you interested? Please send your CV along with a paragraph explaining why you are a suitable candidate for this session (alternatively, you can submit a mini video explaining your experience and motivation) until 31st of January 2014. Our services will then contact you by phone to assess your profile. 

This conference will also be opened to MSCA alumni with 50 seats reserved for them. Registrations will  be free of charge, but alumni will have to cover their own travel and accommodation costs, we will send you a an invitation message in March when registrations are opened.
