Dear All,

Further to my previous email explaining the MSCA outreach activities as part of the EXPO 2015, I would like to bring to your attention another event organised by DG RTD, EUCYS<mailto:http://ec.europa.eu/research/eucys/index_en.cfm?pg=home>, the EU contest for young scientists. This year, the event will take place in Milan city, and will also be linked with EXPO 2015 from the 17 to the 22 of September.

EUCYS 2015, will take place outside EXPO, in Milan city, more specifically at La Fabbrica del Vapore<http://www.fabbricadelvapore.org/en/>. The purpose of the contest is promoting the ideals of cooperation and interchange between young scientists. 150 young scientists aged between 14 and 20 years old will also have the chance to be guided by some of the most leading scientists in Europe.

Details on potential MCAA involvement

Two stands will be present at La Fabbrica del Vapore: an EU research stand and the stand "Science: It's a girl thing!<mailto:http://science-girl-thing.eu/en>" (thus, we will need female researchers). The stands will be dismantled the 20 September (12.30 am).

We are searching for volunteers with an experience in participating in events targeting children and with an enthusiastic attitude in order to attract and retain the attention of young people.

We will need both male and female researchers (3-4 researchers for each slot) from any research field, who could take with them the research material needed in order to arrange the outreach activities. Please note that we don't need your presence all day, in the sense that you could be present, for instance, only for two hours when the young scientists have free time.  As the programme is still at a drafting stage, we will be able to give you more information in the coming months.

We would be very happy to involve you in this big happening.  It could be certainly a valuable occasion for MSCA fellows to show to young scientists the outcomes of your research, and to exchange with them. We believe that your support for the success of the event will be precious.

Below are the possible time slots for the stand (3-4 researchers for each slot):

- 17 September:  12.30-15.00
- 18 September: 11.30-14.30
- 19 September: 9.30-12.30
-20 September: 9.30-14.30

Could you please fill in the attached an Excel table with the names of the volunteers. This document will be sent to DG RTD, which will directly contact you. Thanks a lot for your collaboration!

Should you need further information, we are here at your disposal. We are looking forward to hear from you!

Best regards,
