The MCAA is represented in the ESOF 2016 Career Committee

I am indeed impressed to read about so many great events that our chapters and members organise worldwide. Thank you for your energy, efforts and great results!

I have a good news to share. I have been invited to join the ESOF 2016 Career Committee, on the bases of personal experience and earlier cooperation with ESOF. Good news is that the invitation is extended to the MCAA and that we will receive very suitable conditions for the next conference which will be held in Manchester in July 2016. We will receive free of charge a stand to organise the MCAA Poster Session for Young Researchers, a slot for promotional event and room for internal meeting. As I learned, reduced fees for students are also planned, certain number of travel grants for young researchers, as well as discounts for group registrations. This will be great opportunity to network, promote our association, and present work of our members to this large and respected audience.

Additionally, we will have opportunity to propose a session for the Career programme (the call will be opened later), which is very suitable for organisations which deal with different career aspect.

Currently is opened the call for science sessions which is more suitable for individual scientists willing to cooperate and discuss on specific scientific themes relevant to the conference. The MCAA does not have scientific projects, but our members can participate individually, on the basis of their scientific affiliations and experience, representing their own institutions. In case your sessions get selected, we will promote your success on the MCAA website!
