Bethânia Monteforte Sasseron
Bethânia Monteforte Sasseron is a licensed clinical and organisational psychologist, professor, and researcher with over 16 years of experience in evidence-based interventions, particularly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). She will participate in the Marie Curie Alumni Association Annual Conference 2026 as a speaker, representing Rumo Solutions and the PeerPower initiative. Her work integrates clinical expertise with scalable learning solutions to strengthen resilience and mental health literacy, including psychological first aid in academia. In addition to clinical practice, she is a university professor and researcher with a multidisciplinary focus on mental health, digital transformation, sustainability, artificial intelligence, organisational psychology, and ethical innovation. Her work bridges scientific rigour with real-world application, particularly in complex and multicultural environments. She has contributed to international humanitarian initiatives involving onboarding, capacity building, digital learning ecosystems, and the adoption of innovative tools to support engagement and behavioural change.
