MCAA Policy Forum
The MCAA Policy Forum is the Association’s annual flagship policy event. It brings together leaders from European institutions, including the European Commission, the European Parliament, and the Council of the European Union, as well as key stakeholders from the research community to discuss and shape the future of Europe’s research ecosystem.
This major event provides a space for reflection in which researchers’ voices can meaningfully contribute to the European policy debate. Its thematic focus is aligned with the European research agenda, enabling the MCAA to further engage with policymakers while presenting evidence-based insights on the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) programme to inform future policies.

MCAA Policy Forum 2025
The first MCAA Policy Forum brought together representatives from the European Parliament, the European Commission, the Council of the European Union, and the research community to discuss the strategic importance of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) at a pivotal moment for Europe's research and innovation landscape. Held on 4 December 2025 at the European Parliament in Brussels, under the patronage of Christian Ehler, the event contributed to discussions on the future research and innovation Framework Programme (FP10) by presenting the MCAA's new report on the impact of the MSCA since 1996, providing evidence-based insights and recommendations to strengthen Europe's competitiveness and research.
