Eugenio H. Otal is an Associate Professor at Shinshu University, Japan, where he works in materials chemistry, synchrotron techniques, and sensor instrumentation. He also serves as Chair of the Japanese Chapter of the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA), promoting international scientific collaboration between Europe and Asia. A father of two and devoted husband, he holds a 2nd Dan in Aikido and a 1st Dan in Kendo.
