Murat Gunes earned his PhD in Micro and Nanotechnology from METU. A two-time Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow, he has successfully commercialised products through venture creation and licensing. As a researcher, entrepreneur, and policymaker, he blends deep technical expertise with the ability to lead, inspire, and communicate complex ideas effectively. He previously served as the Chair of the Bridging Business and Science Working Group and Secretary of the Executive Committee (ExCom) for the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA).
