Nevena Marković has an interdisciplinary background in Classics, Environmental Sciences, and Heritage Studies, with experience spanning research, academic publishing, the non-profit sector, translation, and language data training. A former MSCA-ITN Fellow in Critical Heritage Studies, her work bridges academic and non-academic contexts. A member of the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) since 2017, she currently serves as Vice-Chair of the MCAA Western Balkans Chapter. Her research interests include environmental anthropology, indigenous knowledge, decolonial studies, cultural linguistics, and endangered and minority languages.
