Silvia Gómez Recio is Secretary General of the Young European Research University Network (YERUN), where she oversees the network’s strategy, policy work and collaborative initiatives across its member universities. Since opening the Brussels office in 2016, she has played a central role in connecting universities with European institutions and shaping collective responses to key developments in research and innovation policy.
