1st Gender Equity and Research Symposium (GEaRs)

Bringing together prominent researchers from academia and industry, the symposium will explore key themes such as:
-Scientific Policy and its role in promoting gender equity
- The importance of mentoring programs and associations supporting women in research
- Balancing research careers and motherhood

We are thrilled to announce that Tania Romacho and Magdalini Theodoridou, esteemed members of the GEDI Working Group of the MCAA, will be speaking at the event, sharing their expert insights on these important topics.

Additionally, we are honored to have Dr. Elisa García from FECYT and EURAXESS as a special guest, along with other leaders in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, who will offer their experiences and perspectives.

The event will also feature an Empowering Matchmaking activity, fostering new collaborations and networks.
