The conference might be of interest for members working on urban and regional development, policy, or research with a focus on Central and Eastern Europe.

The conference will showcase challenges, determinants, and perspectives of development of different kinds of metropolises and peripheries in CEE. The emphasis is on economic performance, social, and political issues with respect to regional, national, and European dimensions.

The 2019 RSA CEE Conference will also feature a Policy Day that will present plenary presentations, panels, and paper sessions on issues and inputs concerned with CEE place-based policies.
