2nd Annual Port Management Strategy Summit

The 2^nd Annual Port Management Strategy Summit will take place from 11 to 12 February in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Summit will bring together maritime professionals to learn from the best practices, to synchronize their thoughts, and to coordinate their efforts in order to strategically adapt to the current trends in port management. The Summit will address themes as:

·        Port Authorities business model evolution (From a Port Operation model to a niche business developer model; in search of added value markets);

·        Snapshots of economic development acceleration for 2015, 2017, 2020 (Middle East Region)

·        Added value projects in ME and African Ports;

·        Difference of tendency between European Ports and Middle East , African and SE Asian ones;

·        What would be the influence if no Ballast Water Treatment is put in place;

·        Hinterland connectivity Strategies;

·        Size of the ships vs Port infrastructure.

The Summit is organised by Fleming Gulf. Discussions will be led by representatives from the private sector and maritimes professionals are expected to participate.
