On June 25, 2026, the UAM280 Campus in Madrid will host a landmark hybrid event celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA). The programme, running from 9:00h to 14:00h, will explore the transformative impact of MSCA on the European research landscape.
The morning session, "How We Got Here," features insights from the MCAA Spain-Portugal Chapter, and MSCA National Contact Points, offering a retrospective on the program’s evolution and its vital role in researcher career development.
The second half focuses on "Talent Attraction and Retention in the Horizon Europe Framework," specifically highlighting the strategies of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). Attendees will gain practical knowledge from the UAM OPEI and OAI offices regarding international talent support, followed by a presentation on the successful MSCA Choose Europe project, "MOTYVES."
The event concludes with a personal look at researcher journeys through the experiences of two MSCA fellows. This celebration is a must-attend for those interested in the future of research excellence and international collaboration.
Registration is free for both in-person and online participants. LINK: https://eventos.uam.es/155264/detail/30-anos-del-programa-marie-sklodow…
