Important notice: Planned website migration
Between 31 October and the first few days of November, the MCAA website will be in read-only mode as we migrate to our new website. During this time, you can view existing content, but no submissions, edits, or uploads are possible. This includes forms, profile updates, and news items. Thank you for your patience as we work to launch our new, improved site.

GRC on Molecular Membrane Biology

by achaise

The 2015 Gordon Conference on Molecular Membrane Biology will feature cutting-edge research on organelle biology and membrane traffic, with fundamental implications across many areas of human health and development. Invited talks will cover a wide range of topics including membrane protein insertion and translocation; mechanisms and regulation of membrane shaping, fission, and fusion; the molecular basis of organellar identity and interactions; lipid biology; and metabolism and autophagy. In addition, two sessions will be devoted to new frontiers in molecular membrane biology. A longstanding strength of this Gordon Conference has been the multidisciplinary nature of the research reported, drawing on methodological advances in areas ranging from high-throughput genetics and proteomics to structural biology and super-resolution microscopy. Attendance by under-represented minorities, students, postdoctoral fellows, junior faculty, and faculty from primarily undergraduate institutions is encouraged.
