H2020 Information day - Digital Security: Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Trustworthy ICT

The Horizon 2020 Information Day – Digital security (Cybersecurity, Privacy and Trustworhty ICT) is organised by the Unit CNECT H.4 (Trust and Security). This event will deal with the first Horizon 2020 calls on Digital Security in 2014, both in ICT LEIT and Societal Challenge 7 and will take place on 15 January 2014 in Brussels, Belgium.

This will be the opportunity to get a full understanding of the fundamental changes from FP7 to Horizon 2020. The event will address themes as:

·        Cryptography,

·        Security-by-design

·        Privacy,

·        Access Control, and

·        Risk Management and Assurance Models.

Discussions will be led by representatives from the European Commission, DG CONNECT. During the afternoon, attendants will have the opportunity to present their ideas for possible future proposals and to network with other potential proposers. Academia, Research Institutes, ICT Industry, National Contact Points and Law Enforcement Agencies are expected to participate.
