Innomatnet Workshop - Exploring the role of local communities in materials research - From best practices to policy

The 6^th Innomatnet workshop “Exploring the role of local communities in materials research - From best practices to policy” will take place on 21 January in Brussels, Belgium.

This will be an opportunity to explore the importance of involving and empowering citizens, local communities and local creative industries and designers in material research, bridging the gap between material industry and citizens and local entrepreneurs, as an important step towards a sustainable and eco-friendly economy and society.

The workshop will also explore how this topic is implemented into the European Policies and it will tackle in the potential synergies in between existing initiatives and European networks (networks of Labs, networks of Creative Industries, Networks of Material research/industry).
