Research, Dialogue, and the Future of Innovation
If scientific research is a long journey, then Imperial College London is a place where rigor meets imagination—where ideas are transformed into impact, and where science, engineering, and society converge.
On November 30, 2025, the Marie Curie Scholars Chinese Association, together with academic partners including Imperial College London, MCAA UK Chapter, and WASTI (World Alliance for Sustainable Technology Innovation), warmly invites you to join:
“Marie Curie Researchers at Imperial College London”
This is a unique international academic exchange, bringing together Marie Skłodowska-Curie researchers, Imperial scholars, and outstanding students from across Europe and beyond.
💡 About MSCA
Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) is one of the European Union’s most prestigious and influential research funding programmes, dedicated to nurturing researchers with international mobility, interdisciplinary vision, and innovative capacity.
Since 2010, 21 MSCA fellows have gone on to receive Nobel Prizes. In 2025, both Professor Michel Devoret (Nobel Prize in Physics) and Professor Philippe Aghion (Nobel Prize in Economics) were former Marie Curie researchers—underscoring the programme’s profound and lasting academic impact.
🎓 Meet Marie Curie Researchers — Up Close
This event is not about long presentations or rigid agendas.
It is about conversation.
Marie Curie researchers and Imperial scholars will engage in relaxed, in-depth dialogue across disciplines including:
-
Engineering, AI, and robotics
-
Climate, energy, and sustainability
-
Medicine, biomedical imaging, and health
-
Materials, manufacturing, and applied sciences
-
Design, humanities, and human-centred technology
From research ideas to academic journeys, from future collaboration to life stories—this is a space where curiosity leads and ideas resonate.
Imperial College London has long stood at the frontier of science and engineering, translating discovery into global influence. This exchange continues that tradition: responding to complexity with openness, and shaping the future through collaboration.
