Ms Cristina Gómez was appointed as Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions National Contact Point and National Representative for Spain from 2014 to 2023 at the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT). She has a wide experience and knowledge supporting individuals and institutions applying to Framework Programmes, from proposal writing to project management. She has been linked to national and international initiatives in the field of human resources in research and research mobility (EURAXESS, training and mentoring actions with Latin America and the Caribbean region) for more than 15 years and is the new project coordinator for EURAXESS Worldwide since January 2024.

She holds a Diploma in Tourism Activities (University of Deusto, 1999), a Degree in Tourism (U. San Pablo CEU, 2012), an expert degree in Promotion and Management of International R&D&I Projects and Actions (UPM, 2013) and a master’s degree in international development Cooperation (UNIR, 2022).

 

Dr. Ren Bin China MSCA PF Webinar 2024 Speaker

Dr. Bin Ren is a MSCA European Fellow since June 2023, specializing in high-contrast astronomical imaging. He engineers statistical methods to detect faint objects near bright stars. Currently involved in the ERC PROTOPLANETS project, Dr. Ren previously worked at Caltech's Exoplanet Technology Lab and holds a PhD in Physics and Astronomy from the Johns Hopkins University with a focus on exoplanet detection methodologies. Dr. Ren's educational background includes dual Bachelors' degrees in Physics and Statistics and a Master's in Applied Mathematics and Statistics. An FAA-licensed pilot, Dr. Ren's passion for space extends beyond research.
