Meet the MCAA in Bern

by achaise

Are you a Marie Curie Alumni who has benefitted, or is still benefitting, from a Marie Curie Grant? Are you Swiss or currently living in Switzerland?

If so, the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA), in collaboration with Euresearch and the University of Bern, has organised an event only for you!

The MCAA, and in particular the “Events and Network” Working Group, would like to meet you on 8 April 2016, around 12.00-12.30 PM at the University of Bern, Hauptgebaude, Hochschulstrasse 4, Room 215, 3012 Bern (Switzerland). The purpose of this event is to introduce current and past Marie Curie fellows in Switzerland to the plethora of network and career development opportunities and resources provided by the MCAA and discuss emerging issues in the increasingly diversified landscape of the research profession.

Benefits of joining MCAA and this event:

- Increase your professional network and share ideas with talented people

- Meet potential employers and/or partners

- Develop your networking and leadership capabilities

We are really looking forward to meeting you there! There will be also a dedicated session for networking. Bring your own poster (minimum size A3) and share with us your latest achievements! External speakers from other institutions have been also invited to talk about grants, patentability, taxation, etc.

If you don’t live in Bern, apply for one of the available grants! But be quick, as the number of grants is limited!

Last but not least, MCAA has decided to add an extra service. If you authorise the organizers to share your CV with companies or centres of research, you will increase the chance to be contacted!
