Octobre Rose Challenge

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, also known in France as Octobre Rose. For this initiative, the MCAA France Chapter has organised a new challenge. Join us and follow the steps below:

1. Visit octobreroseconnecte.fr (QR code available in the attached flyer).
2. Click on “Je m’inscris” / “Register”. Registration is free of charge.
3. Select “Join a team” and choose MCAA France Chapter.
4. Enter your details and complete your registration.
5. From October 1 to 31, get moving your way! Walk, run, cycle, swim. Every kilometer counts.

Track your distance using a fitness watch, a smartphone app (Strava, Decathlon Coach, Samsung Health, etc.), or by uploading a GPX file. No device? No problem, you can also log your kilometers manually. Join as part of the MCAA France Chapter team and help us accumulate as many kilometers as possible together. This isn’t about competition, it’s about solidarity, raising awareness, and supporting breast cancer screening. Join us, for more information

As part of the Octobre Rose Connecté challenge, the MCAA France Chapter would love to add a special community moment across France. Here’s the idea:

Saturday, 25 October – 9:00 AM (local time)
Each local “ambassador” organizes a small activity in their city (a walk, a jog, a bike ride… anything active!). Every participant brings or wears something pink to show support. We’ll collect photos during the activity to share our solidarity, raise awareness, and highlight the strength of the MCAA community. This way, we will create a synchronized nationwide action that strengthens both our impact on breast cancer awareness and the bonds within our MCAA community.
