Researchers’ Night 2013 27 September / 300 European cities, Europe

This year’s Researchers’ Night will take place on Friday 27 September in 300 cities all around Europe.

Events will offer a wide variety of fun, educational activities, from behind-the-scenes guided tours of research labs that are normally closed to the public, to interactive science shows, hands-on experiments and workshops.

Organisers may apply for funding for Researchers' Night events through a competitive call for proposals. The very best receive EU support. The calls are managed by the Research Executive Agency (REA).

The events attract people of all ages – including families, school groups, young and old – who are intrigued by how things work and by what science means for their day-to-day life.
