TransportNET - Rail School seminar 2014: Academia meets business

The seminar “TransportNET - Rail School seminar 2014: Academia meets business” will take place on 17 June in Antwerp, Belgium.

This will be an opportunity for rail industry experts, academics and practitioners to discuss:

• railway safety,
• interoperability,
• high-speed rail performance.

This rail seminar aims at business practitioners who want to get acquainted with the actual state of and problems in rail markets, as well as at advanced Master and PhD students, who want to acquire context to apply their methodologies, and acquire scientific techniques that are of use for analyzing rail and related network markets. A focus is on the European market, but most concepts are sufficiently generalisable to be of high interest also to non-European participants.
