Workshop on Education and Training Needs for Aviation Engineers and Researchers in Europe

The Workshop on Education and Training Needs for Aviation Engineers and Researchers in Europe will take place on 13 June in Brussels, Belgium.

This will be an opportunity to:

• discuss about the skill needs and possible shortages of engineering workforce in the Aviation sector;
• discuss about methodologies used to analyse the skill needs;
• discuss ways of improving the quality of engineers education and matching the workforce supply to the needs of the aviation sector.

The workshop is organised by this ACARE Working Group together with the European Commission and the EU-funded action AirTN NextGen. Representatives from the European Commission, of higher education in aviation and accreditation bodies and engineering managers from aeronautics industry are expected to participate.
