World Science Forum - "The Enabling Power of Science"

World Science Forum (WSF) is a biennial event initiated by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and organised jointly by the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the International Council for Science (ICSU), the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) and the European Academies Science Advisory Council (EASAC).

In 2015 WSF returned to Budapest with the main theme of "The Enabling Power of Science" to discuss how science contributes to opening new paths for the improvement of human life, business innovation and policy making. Gathering together eminent scientists, politicians, decision-makers and representatives of civil society, the World Science Forum has become the leading event of global science policy today.
