Singapore (11 June 2017) - there are 15 MCAA members coming from the ASEAN countries (Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines) and EURAXESS ASEAN representatives gathered together to celebrate the Inauguration of MCAA Southeast Asia Chapter, which was established in April 2017. Here in the first day we meet at Cafe Boomerang to get to know each other and enjoy networking. Thank you for EURAXESS ASEAN for hosting our dinner.
The Southeast Asia Chapter is an official component of the MCAA, and encourages local networking and attracts new members to the Association within all parts of the region.
We aim to enhance the image of the MCAA in Southeast Asia by organising interesting events and innovative activities. We would like to share our experiences as researchers, to highlight the benefits of Marie Curie Actions, and of the MCAA Association, and to communicate our ideas of the world as a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary community.
All MCAA members residing in Southeast Asia, or nationals of any Southeast Asia country [usually ASEAN member states: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam - but we are pretty open-hearted!] currently residing elsewhere, are welcome to become members of the Southeast Asia Chapter.
Membership of the Chapter is free! Just click on the 'Join Group' logo at the top of the right-hand column, and we would be happy to welcome you.
Please do not hesitate to contact us at: email@example.com
We also have country representative in most of ASEAN member states, who acts as contact persons for researchers in the region interested in learning more about the MSCA mobility opportunities and the programmes of MCAA. Please click on the link or video profile to find out more about each country representative:
