2017 MSCA postdoctoral positions available at the Prostate Cancer Lab - IDIBELL

The Prostate Cancer Lab at the Bellvitge Institute for Biomedical Research (IDIBELL) (www.alvaroayteslab.eu) is looking for motivated scientists interested in pa MSCA Individual Fellowship in the fields of cancer biology/development/epigenetics.

We offer help with the preparation of your MSCA application in our lab to work on an exciting project aimed at uncovering mechanisms of prostate differentiation during development that become aberrantly activated during prostate cancer progression to androgen independent lethal phenotypes. The project will envolve developing novel genetic mouse models, genome-wide epigenetics studies, functional genomics on organoid cultures as well as in vivo. We will employ mouse and human speciments to interrogate candidate mechanisms involved in the acquisition of this lethal phenotype in prostate cancer.

Candidates must have a PhD on cell biology, Cancer biology, development, epigenetics or related fields. Knowledge of mouse modeling is desired but not a requirement. Bioiinformatics skills to work with NGS (RNAseq, WES, ATACseq, ChIPseq, etc...) is a plus. We look for independent, creative team workers willing to join a young and international team.
