The Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) is a global network of researchers who have benefited from or are benefiting from the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA). The MCAA supports and contributes to advancing knowledge for a global, diverse, and informed society. Its primary focus is to support its members’ career development, offer networking opportunities, and contribute to shaping research and innovation policies in the EU. Currently, the MCAA has over 24,000 members from 150+ countries, at all career stages and from diverse research fields.
The Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) is seeking a service provider (individual or company) to develop a WordPress website for an EU-funded project. The service provider will work closely with the Association’s communication and IT teams to plan and develop the website.
The website will consist of text and graphics-based pages. Content for the website, including text and visual design, will be provided by the MCAA’s communication and design team. The developer should ideally have experience in UI/UX design to deliver a smooth, visually appealing website user experience. The website must comply with GDPR and other data protection regulations to ensure user privacy and legal compliance.
The complete website must be finalised and published by early September, though parts of it (e.g. the home page) will need to be published in July 2026.
After publication, the service provider should provide maintenance and bug-fixing support to the MCAA team for several weeks to ensure the website runs smoothly. Moreover, as a deliverable, the service provider is expected to develop a guideline document for the team for future content editing and uploading.
Though not guaranteed, further website support might be contracted from the same provider also in the future.
The total budget is capped at 4,000–5,000 euros (inclusive of VAT); please ensure your proposal falls within this range.
Interviews for the position will be conducted on a rolling basis, and the call may close earlier if a suitable individual/company is identified. Work should begin no later than June 2026.
