Information:

The pioneering aim of this project is to create an innovative paradigm for supporting mobility and preventing falls among elderly patients; integrating for the first time two different disciplines: construction and psychological science. We will develop a specific rehabilitation garden applicable to a variety of frail elderly patients using the development of a virtual assessment and a learning environment tool for the detailed and effective assessment of environmental elements and movement possibilities.

We offer an exciting working environment in an international network with top scientists and researchers that is geared towards cutting-edge and multi-disciplinary research. The project offers an opportunity to undertake a novel research as well as travel and interaction with other scientists all over Europe. The financial remuneration is very attractive.

A candidate is needed to participate in this proposed research. A candidate must have obtained a PHD and shouldn’t have resided in the host country (UK) for at most 1 year in the 3 years preceding the application. A candidate can come from any one of the following disciplines:

  • Psychology
  • Construction
  • IT
  • Rehabilitation and Health Sciences
  • Social work
