Partnership & Sponsorship Officer
Job description:
The position will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the partnership & sponsorship activities in MCAA, including, but not limited to:
- Identify and approach potential partners and sponsors aligned with MCAA's mission and programs.
- Actively secure sponsorship for upcoming MCAA GA & AC 2024 in Milan, Italy
- Develop compelling partnership proposals that outline mutually beneficial collaboration opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing partners and sponsors, ensuring their continued engagement and support.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure successful execution of partnership agreements and fulfillment of sponsor expectations.
- Monitor trends and identify new partnership avenues to enhance MCAA's visibility and impact.
- Maintain accurate records of partnership and sponsorship activities, including contracts, communications, and deliverables.
What we expect:
- A graduate qualification or higher in a relevant field.
- Proven track record of successfully securing partnerships and sponsorships in the non-profit or other organizations.
- A sound knowledge of marketing, branding, licensing, and merchandising.
- Experience in multicultural work environments.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to create compelling proposals and presentations.
- Good knowledge and command of tools (spreadsheets, planning tools, Monday.com, G Suite, collaborative tools, CRM tools)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (at least C1 level)
- Good teamwork abilities, particularly in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary context
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- The readiness to join an international virtual team
- Available during the Western Europe working hours
Will be be considered as advantages:
- Degree in Business, Marketing & related field
- Experience with scientific or alumni organizations
- Relevant training from CASE or similar organizations
- Working experiences in fundraising/sponsorship/partnership
- C2 level in English
- B2 level in French and/ B2 level in Italian
- Willing to relocate in Belgium, if not already based in Belgium.
What we offer:
- MCAA service contract as freelancer from as soon as possible (no later than mid-September/early October 2023) until the end of September 2024, subject to extension depending on the availability of the budget
- Compensation is based on the candidate's relevant experience, with a daily gross rate ranging from 140 Euro to 160 Euro or higher depending on the experience. A correction coefficient may apply depending on the geopolitical location.
- The position is expected to be 8 days/month
