Quantum Technology opportunities

We are currently setting up a new research group at the University of Sussex in Brighton, UK. Our focus will be on experimental quantum mechanics, in particular, cold and ultra-cold atomic gases.

Part of our work will be related to quantum technologies and we will build new sensors to measure the magnetic field of the brain. We also have pioneered the use of 3D printing in creating atom traps, something we are very excited about developing in the future.

A number of positions at both PhD and post-doc level are available and we are open to candidates with a broad range of expertise, from neuroscience to electronics - not just physics. There are no deadlines per se.
