How to apply
The calls for the MSC Individual Fellowships will open on 11th April 2017. Startups can be joined by applying to the Society and Enterprise panel. You will have 6 months to write your application. To increase your options for success, please plan in advance. You can write to us anytime using the contact form on the website. Feel free to stay in touch even before the call opens. We will schedule a conference call to know each other better and talk about our research and your expertise.
Below we give some hints about potential research projects. Besides these specific topics, we are also happy to hear your ideas and find a project that could be interest for both of us.
Proposed topics
Sciences and Engineering
- develop models and algorithms to outperform adaptive algorithms in airlines pricing systems
- design a virtually reality instrument/algorithm to get to know customers’ preferences
- develop new artificial intelligence algorithms to understand user preferences upon general feedback and with small training sample
Social Sciences and Humanities
- study the phenomenon of super commuters from aggregated data – new migration trends for high income population
- study the build-up of megaregions and new trends that shape and influence job mobility
- develop novel marketing strategies to reach out to niche of customers who are widespread in all industries and often do not have a digital footprint
- study how “literature” changes with internet. Use travel related literature to understand what resonates best with readers, but also what catches their attention (use of google analytics together with blogs / newsletters / microblogging on social media)
- design a novel user experience for virtual reality based booking system
