TRAIN@Ed is an ambitious new scheme to give postdoctoral researchers from around the world the opportunity to develop by providing bespoke opportunities to engage with industry and a dedicated skills development programme designed to help the Fellow in establishing a career in research.
TRAIN@Ed will allow Fellows to be employed for three years, with a focus on collaborative research with industry, the creative arts or third sector organisations. Training, mentoring and career development of the Fellows will be major features of their time. The “cohort” experience is based on the Edinburgh’s very successful Chancellor’s Fellows scheme.
