This webinar will introduce the different steps of Innovation related to the Deeptech scheme that describes the transition from academic lab to the applications for the society. This scheme will be compared with the journey of PhDs who live an immersive experience in this ecosytem of innovation. Master and PhD students interested in their future transition outside academia can be concerned by this webinar, especially if they are curious to gather more information about the transition from basic research to Startup or Valorization.

Speakers

Marc Chevalier, PhD is Startup Program Manager in the Tech Transfer Office of the Institut Pasteur, Paris. He is a doctor in Neuroscience. He pursued his career alternating scientific positions and entrepreneurship, while being strongly involved in associative projects aiming at facilitating networking and the professional evolution of PhDs in the private sector or outside academia. He joined the Institut Pasteur in 2018 as Scientific Career Advisor to provide career guidance to PhD students and Post-doc of the institute before moving to the Direction of Innovation to deploy the Startup Program he contributed to build. https://www.linkedin.com/in/marcchevalier
