MCAA RM WG Event - Steering Success in MSCA Projects
Full Title:
Steering Success in MSCA Projects: A World Café Workshop on the Evolving Role of Project Managers
Description:
Project Managers (PMs) serve as the backbone of collaborative Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) projects, ensuring smooth coordination and implementation. Despite their essential role, the recognition and appreciation they deserve often remain elusive. This workshop organized in a world café format aims to spotlight the varied challenges, specific requirements, and successful strategies employed by PMs.It brings together a diverse set of stakeholders - from researchers to policymakers and funders. Designed to foster interactive discussions, participants will split into smaller groups and engage in focused subtopics of project and research management in MSCA at each table.
The workshop is a satellite event of the conference “MSCA 2023 - Diverse Research Careers to Tackle Global Challenges”
Expected Outcome:
Through the World Café approach, participants can anticipate rich exchanges of perspectives and practical insights. Attendees will get a clearer understanding of the challenges and opportunities in project management within the MSCA. They will also recognize the value of community-driven platforms like the MCAA Research Management Working Group or NCPs. This workshop aims to leave participants better informed and connected, laying the groundwork for stronger MSCA projects in the future.
