​Fan Mo

Fan Mo is an ordinary Board member of the MCAA and a Full Professor at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He is also a researcher at the University of Oxford, where he leads the AI and Graph Learning Group, and a Visiting Fellow at the University of Cambridge. His research spans artificial intelligence, knowledge graphs, graph neural networks, and robotics, with applications in intelligent manufacturing, computational biology, and sustainable systems. He completed his doctoral research with support from the EU Horizon 2020 programme and previously worked at Cambridge’s Centre for Human-Inspired Artificial Intelligence. He has led and contributed to multi-million-pound research projects and developed AI-driven systems with industrial partners including Siemens and ABB. Within the MCAA, Fan serves as Vice-Chair of the China Chapter, organising international forums and academic events. He brings experience in interdisciplinary research, university–industry partnerships, and international community building. He is committed to strengthening connections between European and Asian research communities, fostering open collaboration, and translating research into practical benefits for industry and society.
