The Art of Personal Branding — 7–8 November 2025, Basel

The MCAA Switzerland Chapter, together with the Chapters of Germany, Italy, France and the Communication Working Group, hosted a two-day workshop on personal branding in Basel. Guided by Dr. Petra Wüst, participants explored how to articulate and communicate their professional identity, worked with the Self Branding Model®, and practiced presenting their achievements with confidence. The programme combined intensive exercises with opportunities to connect and enjoy Basel’s Herbstmesse.

This two-day workshop focused on helping researchers reflect on their personal brand, understand the key elements that shape it, and develop practical strategies to communicate it effectively. Through guided exercises, networking discussions and a supportive atmosphere, participants gained insights into how personal branding can support career development across different stages.
